Superjet Engine about to die?

Hey guys. I have some issues with my stock 650. Last season i opened the hood on it after riding it the previous day and noticed the ski was filled with a white milk-like liquid. And when I started it, the ski was super loud and sounded like a piston was rapping. And I have never had any problems with this ski since purchased. Now since I'm trying to get my custom build done (and finish this semester up) and don't know a whole lot about hardcore engine work, I sent it off to a Yamaha repair shop. $250 later all they did was put new plugs in, without even starting the ski! I included a video of it running, so hopefully you guys have a clue what the problem may be and what options I have to fix it. I'mafraid to run it and see how it performs in fear of blowing the engine or making something worse. Thanks

That sounds lean, and the milky stuff is emulsified oil that has been in contact with water. Both things point to a leak somewhere, probably in the cases. Sounds like you have too much air getting in, and fuel getting out.

That is so sad! It would appear there was water in the engine and a rod bearing wore out. It would require a crank shaft ($195 SBT) at this point. What is really sad is that a Yamaha repair shop would screw you like that. -250 for spark plugs!

yep, may want to start looking for a 701 to drop in there. I had a bearing go out on my crank and im already over $300 into the rebuild with some killer deals on parts too. Save your time and money and find a good used 701 here on the X (everyone told me to do the same but i kinda figured a rebuild wouldnt cost a whole lot, i was wrong...)

Ugh thats what I was afraid of. I'm still trying to finish up a 760 rn buildup but college has forced me to take a break from that project for another week until finals end. I was hoping to have this one to enjoy until my other one is done, but oh well. Thanks for your input guys!
