superjet 144mm pump

I have recently purchased a 144mm complete jet pump unit for my rn superjet and the reduction nozzle thread location for the steering nozzle are horizontal not vertical meaning i can adjust the trim but no steering why is this.

Is this what you bought? The steering nozzle is different for this set-up. If you don't need/ want trim, you may have to get a different reduction nozzle, or have a welder (US spelling) relocate the two mounting bosses.

This is a pic of the reduction nozzle I have bought that came with the new pump the black one markedwith 62T.

The original which I will have to use is the green one marked 61X that has vein guides .

All nozzles have/ need those guides until some expert in fluid dynamics decides to remove them. The 2008-up nozzle pictured in post 2 and below does too. You may just want to go with your green 61x nozzle.+

Will use my original 61X guess I better clean it up and get some etching primer on it and paint it.
