Super long rookie video

This was the beginning of my demise. I was already somewhat hooked the summer before, but now both my skis ran good and were reliable. There's many failed tricks in this. But we all have to start somewhere right? This trip was so much fun in so many ways. But the vid was my first, my first trick attempts among others. First ride on the B1 etc... So it was a total freak show all weekend. We're doing it again this year and can't friggin wait!!!

Yes on side of helmet. The gopro curved mount contour fit the side of the helmet best, so that's where it ended up.

I hear ya there. Some time ago Charlie Hustle and others had talked (on a vid thread some time ago) about posting up vids like this. So hopefully some other guys will post up some too. There's not much I don't like about jet skiing. And learning to ride better and learning tricks is all part of the fun.

hey man cool video, that looks like a great ride spot. riding jetskis with friends that love jetskis too is just the best times on the water. sometimes you go out with a buddy and just practice a trick which is good to do, but other days when lots of riders show up it can be a blast. the more the better.

Love Rollins, I used to live in the grand city of Colfax. We go there every year for my birthday in May. Most of the time we have the whole lake to play on.

There was a bit of boat traffic, but the bonus of that is some nice wakes. There was a couple of big boats that were throwing some very impressive wakes. The two boats were always cruising together too. I launched the B1 of of one, but landed on the face of another and collapsed on the ski. Hardest hit I have felt. I thought I broke my arm for a bit and just sat and floated. Sacked up and did it some more lol!

We should be back at rollins in May. We normally wakeboard so this will be the first trip with skis. Still going to bring the boat to make some ramps.
