alright, that just pulls out of there, simple enough... Next question, the reed that went bad is missing pieces to it, meaning it probably got sucked into the engine... Does that mean I am going to want to go for a whole disassembly/cleaning/inspection/rebuild?

no its for sure reeds..... question remains, one of them got munched and parts of it had to have gone through the engine. Do i disassemble and attempt to clean it all up, or figure the damage has already been done and just put it back together? Compression is still good.... but I see very small metal pieces in the intake, so I am sure they are in the case.
And what do I put back in there, oem reeds or something else after market like fiberglass.... Please help, I want this thing running again.
