super jet b-pipe rattle

i just installed a new b-pipe on my super jet... i'm very happy with it... my problem is the aluminum chamber is hitting and rattling on the engine mount right under it... i tried adjusting it higher etc. its got to come up a 1/4 inch...
any ideas ?

Not sure exactly where it is hitting if it is installed properly, but it is more likely that when the motor is not running that there is only about a 1/4" gap between the chamber and the bedplate. Then when the engine is running, it vibrates more than 1/4" thus hitting the bedplate. If this is the case, you can shove one or two pieces of hydroturf in there, or try rotatin the chamber into a different position.

give it a little love tap with the universal convincer.

i always grind the upper corner of the bedplate (right above the bolt) to make sure it doesnt hit the chamber.

you have to turn the chamber in the coupler a little bit. I had to do the same thing.
