Suggestion: "PROMOTE" the AWA membership at events.

no way!!!
i was a member for years and no longer wish to be.
from like 1996 till 2004 i was a good paying member.
i watched the amt of benefit of this memberships dwindle
i don't want to take away from the good they do provide our sport. but honestly im not paying for that any-longer.
i think when the ijsba was divided into what it is now things got sorta worse. hell , we were even supposed to get i think one free add a yr in the magazine which i had to resubmit almost 5 times , needless to say i never saw it.
im sure some of it's decline has to do with lack of corporate backing. there was a lot more commercial money back in the hay days around 1996.
i am not trying to dissuade others from joining and actually would recommend others do.. it's not for me and should not be mandatory at our events. these events are x-h2o events, not awa. i would not mind a presence of the awa, but not forced membership

It should be not "enforce", but "promote and accept new members".
