Subbing, 180 nose stabs

Whatz up guys? I've been trying to do a sub, & 180 nose stab...the past 2 weekends... I'm pretty much running stock, except for the prop, reeds, stuffers, intake, ride... Itz the 91sj, 62T twin carb... Would I still be able to do them, with this machine.... Could you guys please give me some pointers....:woot: :woot: :woot:

We used to do nose stabs and subs and other stuff with no lifters on 550's with 50hp, yes you can do them on your 62t SJ. Practice.

just practice and you'll get it. Don't be afraid to eat it when stabbing. It is weird when you first go inverted but if you fall off it does not hurt.

Subs are always fun...........just hop once to build momentum for height, then again to go under. Subs look easy but it can be a challenge to keep it under for a good one. When you point the ski down towards the water I find that it is a combination of forcing the nose down with the pole and lifting the tray with your feet. But I find pushing the nose down has a better inpact for a nice deep sub. I have a tendency of going in at such an angle that I will launch my self off the front of the boat :biggthumpup: Sometimes I'll do that just for grins...I call that trick the "Trebushay" and I am the thing that gets launched through the air.......its achually fun to plan a wipe out and just eat it as hard and fast as you can :biggrin: I have achually skipped off the water 2 times on that one.......best wipe out ever
