Custom/Hybrid Stunt hull: motor mount bolt size

Having some trouble here and hoping for some help from a fellow stunt owner. The glassed in threads (in the hull) for the motor mounts do not use the standard superjet bolt size. They aren't deep enough for me to get a tap into it to check size and I can't find a single bolt that will thread into it. (I have lots of bolts).

Anyone willing to check what size/thread it is using? It could be standard or metric, I have no idea what he used.

They were metric bolts in both the ones we've had (m12 I believe).....perhaps previous owner of your hull crossthreaded/retapped.

M12, I'll see what I have and give it shot. I'm off today, going to try to make some progress on it Is yours running okay now? I think we're going out tomorrow before noon. There is a non-zero percent chance I might have have the wet bike running for a test.

M12 is a huge bolt... Stock is M8...

For the record, it turned out to be 3/8 - 16
Also, the two bolts that hold the midshaft coupler bracket in place are also 3/8 - 16
