Stopping Question

So I ran my super jet out of the water yesterday, and it wouldnt stop when I hit the stop button. I even pulled the key lace out and it still didnt stop. After about 2 minutes of me freaking out it finally stopped. Not sure what I did to make it stop. I was pressing the stop button like crazy. Taking the key on and off on and off. .... I remembered last week on the water I was coming in to the beach and the button didnt work again, the key lace did tho.

Can any one help on this? Is it the buttons?​

Was the motor just idling normally, or racing?

It seemed to be idoling. But I do have it a lil high. Could that be it?

Wild guess, but maybe the switch is bad ????

next time it happens, just turn down the idle until it dies. replace or rebuild your switch.

I ran her this weekend , and she rode great. Stopped perfect... I guess its ok now. Thanks for all the help.:Banane19:

Put a rag or shoe over the exhaust it will kill it in seconds.
