Stock nozzle

On a stock nozzle whats that little peice for? - that circle thing on top- held on by the 2 bolts. Should i take it off, it seems pointless?

If its the vis spout (shoots water in the air, and pisses you off when laying down) then yea you can take it out no problem.

What about the two holes from the bolts? Just let them go or seal them up?
