So I ordered a new factory limited b-pipe today from Factory Pipe :woot: and they told me that I should really put aftermarket flame arrestors on the ski. They said it would make a huge improvement and compliment the pipe very well.
I was originally planning on keeping the stock flame arrestor to help prevent water ingestion.
Currently I do most of my riding in freshwater lakes and I occasionally make trips back to Florida and ride salt. Fountains and stuff like that have kind of gotten old so I really don't take on that much water. Now I understand riding in the surf is a whole different thing, but if I occasionally ride in the surf can I use aftermarket flame arrestors?
Most guys that use stock flame arrestors have motors with a lot more power than mine. Being that all I will have is a bpipe and head will aftermarket flame arrestors show a noticeable power gain? I assume they will, I mean they require rejetting.
I'm looking for cheap power and I'm in the process of sealing my stock hood and I don't take on that much water anyways.
What do you all think?
