stock exhaust question???

Location
IOWA
Just noticed smoke coming out of the corner of my stock exhaust (see pic) when I started it up for the first time after winter storage. I must be missing something because I can't imagine I should be venting exhaust into the hull like that. Is there supposed to be a cooling fitting/line here that fell out or got bypassed over the years? Looking at routings in service manual it would appear there is no cooling connection here, but looking at parts manual it looks like just a bolt goes in this hole to close it off??? Any help would be appreciated (especially bolt size so I can grab one from the hardware store and ride today w/o fear). I tried looking up that Yami PN to get a thread callout, but no luck. THANKS!

There is a internal part of the exhaust housing. That small little bolt holds the 2 together so it doesn’t rattle apart. They get rotted out with corrosion. If it doesn’t seal with the bolt use some metal epoxy putty from the auto store. Take a little bit out of the tube, need it up and squish till everything is covered. Make sure the area is clean of course too. Helps with the bonding of the epoxy
