and was thinking can a stock engine be rebuilt???
and sense im still a newbie to the sport how exactly do you rebuild an engine?

oh nothing is wrong im just looking for more power. i installing a wet pipe this week and im also just trying to educate myself for more options.

how can to increase the low end power on your motor??

Um.......just rebuilding it won't give you any more power. It's an '08......it shouldn't need rebuilding.
Porting is an option, but I would suggest sticking with the pipe for now.

With the wet pipe youor gonna notice a nice increase in bottom end power and a pretty good top end. It all depends on how you tune the pipe. You will notice a big difference with the pipe alone. Stick with the pipe for starters you can rebuild when you beat on it enough to pop the thing!

Dude Don't take this comment the wrong way but, with your question I get the feeling that you are not very mechanicaly inclined and that is ok. If you are wanting to just tear into your motor I recommend you get help from people that can give you a hand's on experience.I think you would be happier taking your boat to a shop for the pipe install and that way you can start learning alot more about these engines and also be alot happier with how your boat perform's.JMHO

lol not the first time i heard that lol. its not that im not mechanically inclined it is just i dont know the terminology for engines in general. im very good with my hands and i have taken my ski apart. im that type of guy that can take it apart and put it back together. im just trying to educated myself on what each part does, how it works and how to make it better, thats all =))

its just the terminology of the mechanics, i never played with car engines before and never had an interest to. tho, when i found this sport everything got my attention. so im learning =)
