300/440/550 Stock 650 ideas!

Hey everyone ive been a lurker round these parts for quite some time i have a 90 650sx that my fiance bought me about 2 years go all stock and this winter i got an itch and started ripping it apart now i Have all the wires out fuel lines cut and marked and Im starting to clean it up thinking bout just going back stock but any ideas i Dont trick or race just go out and play as we have a house on the bay in Ocean City NJ. I also have my go and fx cruiser to go out on so the sx is just a play toy to hold me over for several years till i can get a SJ so WHo has what to help me out! ideas parts what ever. Im thankful for it all!

After thought i need a throttle cable and a hood gasket as mine are beat!

If its all stock and you want to keep it relatively stock I would go with basic handling mods to start....ss impeller, intake grate, rideplate, bars, new turf, footholds, bilge pump, etc.

Like he said if its got the stock prop that has to be the first thing to go. I got a used 16 skat trak prop for $75 shipped if your interested. I also got a westcoast intake grate for $50 shipped.
As for other mods I would put foot holds in it. It will make the ski so much more fun. When was the last time the engine was rebuilt? If its a weak a fresh bore and pistons would help alot. While its out at the shop getting that done you could get it ported and head shaved and that would give you some great power. I know a guy on here that would do that work for a really good price.

Im not up for getting into motor mods id like to keep cost low like nada all the money she and i do have is going for paying for a wedding and a house here shortly just want to spruce her up some so i can get a few more years of fun then sell it again and be ok when i get my SJ

oem pipe mod, very cheap very effective

read up on pwc today how its done, basically cap off drain at back of pipe and move it to front of stinger.
