While this is certaily no "Kid Korn Films" But here is some of the STL Crew going SXR style on the Missouri River. It was cold and windy, but a blast.

Check it out!

P.S. Any ideas on leveling out my ski during my roll attempts would be great.

Your too nose high and Scotty is nosing them in. You are hitting the wave at 90* and the ski is popping up so you can't get the nose down. A shorrter pole would also help you get your weight over the nose. How short is Scottys pole? He is way over the pole compared to you.

If you hit the wave at a different angle and just use the height of the wave instead of the steep angle then you can keep your nose down. I read this on here somewhere that you need to hit the wave so that your pump is in the water the longest like this for us that rotate left it wil give you that extra milisecond of thrust while the rest of the ski is out of the water.

And on a side note... I thought my water around here was nasty. No wonder you guys think illinois water is so nice. I have seen chocolate milk lighter than that. Does it go through your water lines or is it too thick?

Water was way up and moving fast.

My pole is stock RN length. I think it is my body positioning that keeps my nose up. idk.

Scotty's pole is std umi, which i would assume is stock SJ length.

Wet, I commend you on being able to throw that monster of a ski around! Seems to me your body weight is a bit far back. It helps on the takeoff to bend forward, bring the bars into your waist and center your chest over the chinpad. Lead with that left shoulder and tighten your right one in case you duff it. I know a shorter pole would definitely help. I personally think the wide stance of that ski affects rotation speed too. Natural waves help as well. I remember your rolls were pretty sweet at Wave Rave.

GREAT VIDEO, Saints of Louis! I am going to have to recruit a big yacht next year to do some wake video!

Stock SJ length is a -2 compared to stock SXR length. I am now at -7.5 on mine (-4 pole, -1 1/2 steering, -2 switching to SJ setup). I'll probably move my bracket forward on the new hull and get a couple more inches.

Nice vid. thanks for showing my only 3 jumps, I actully got out right after that second time on the ski since braking the shoulder bone. I'm up to 100-120 pull ups a week though and joined the gym all to catch up to the damn sxr's. My only BR tip is once you feel weight less pull your knees to your chest. also that water was churned up, I never saw it like that before. Happy Birthday wet box!
