Interested in what others have experienced.
I have xmetal trim on a stock 144 pump, pro tec nozzle cut to +20 ish..
10/16 hooker, 771 ported, enhancer, pfp not tuned right lol...
Anyways, the reason for this post is there have been a few posts on this topic and I am also having steering issues with my set up.
I did some max throw mods and think I may have screwed myself into some weird cavitation, or lack of efficient thrust due to the water flow plowing into the nozzle and deflecting too much and reducing proper thrust. Running CF steering and re-drilled my nozzle steering ball end location for max throw.
When I rode my buddies BG3 it steered awesome and was way easier to try flat spins on. He's running a stock 62t nozzle and not sure yet if he re-drilled and moved the ball in.
I need to get a look at his again, but mine doesn't work nearly as well.
Anybody else played with these set ups? I'm currently waiting on a stock 62t steering nozzle.
