steering adjustment

cant figure this out. got a XFT steering plate installed. put the stub on the second hole closest to plate and cant get nozzel to be straight w/ bars straight. tried readjusting but the end isnt long enough. what i dont understand is although the bars are mounted closer to the plate, the place that the cable connects is the same as the stock plate so WHY THE *UCK IS IT NOT WORKING. i tried to adjust at the steering nozzel but it wont move.what am i doing wrong. some one please help before i dicide TO DROP THIS STUPID SKI OFF A CLIFF:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

OK, ive calmed down.:439: any suggestions on how to get the nozzel end ajustment loose with out damaging the cable?

Loosen the nut, spray some lube, use vice grips.

Make sure your cable sleeve isn't sticking out past the clamp (w/e holds it in the pole)

you could put something in the hole so that you can back the nut off
