Stator damage?

Caught a piece of the stator when I was removing my flywheel. :banghead: Scraped a bit in the top left and nicked a wire in the bottom right. Does this still look usable or is there something I can do to fix it?

Test the coil.

Lighting coil 1.14 -1.40 ohms green to green 62T

Yes I believe they are a little different let me see if I can find them.
Correct me if I am wrong on this.

If you have a broken wire then it needs to be rewound or replaced.

What Mark44 said is true, you also want to check each wire to ensure that they are NOT gounded. You should have an open circuit when the positive lead of the ohm meter is connected to any stator wire and the black lead to the stator plate. If the resistance of the coils is incorrect OR if any wire has continuity with the plate replace that coil or the entire stator.

Thanks I went ahead and replaced it last night. I'll run the tests you suggest out of curiosity but will feel better without sticking it in a ski until I get it fixed... I should have tested the new coil to see what it registered at for comparison, oops.
