static timing advance

has anybody ran the stock cdi with about 3 degrees of advanced timing, I am thinking of running a stock 650 cdi and advancing my timing 3 degrees, do you all think would this be a reliable setup, or would I be in the danger zone.

I would imagine the stock rev limiter would prevent any problems....but ive never tried it.

could the setup be run at WOT without any problems?

Ran my 650 that way with no rev limiter.
No problems for me even after long a$$ WOT runs.

Thats how I run my 62t but I do run a 650 cdi for the lower rpm you should be fine

I run mine with ~3° advance with an MSD. Works fine even with wide open throttle runs.
