I have searched and read through many pages, so please forgive me if this issue has been addressed countless times.
I picked up a 94 WB a few weeks back and it started up and ran great(145 psi per cylinder). All of the sudden it would no longer start while riding, got it back to the trailer and started tearing it down. Long story short, all I had was clicking from electrical box. I charged the battery and retried..same thing. Opened box up and jumped solenoid/relay and got absolutely nothing from the starter. Pulled the starter off and hooked it up to a 12v source and it spins...So what could the problem be now? I am sure the motor is not locked up and the motor is getting oil. Could the starter be weak by chance? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
EDIT: Also wanted to add that I did clean/check connections before doing all of this.
EDID 2: was bored so played around a bit more...now the starter will not turn when hooked up to 12v source. I hit it with a wrench and it starts turning, but doesn't seem to have as much torque as most do(usually you can barely hold onto them!)
