Starting issue

Done some reading and some testing can't find my problem. Superjet with msd. Not starting. Replaced solenoid and regulator. Still not starting. Will start if I jump the solenoid. Brown wire coming from start switch has 3v when not pressed and 6v when pressed??! How does that happen?

Disconnect the black and white on the stop/start and try again. Just remember you won't be able to stop it so turn the tickover down.

You need either a new SS switch or the wires/connectors are most likely bad, should have nearly full battery voltage I believe.
