i have a 97 superjet 760 all moded out for freestyle,, problem is it always had a problem starting just put in a jet works battery and that didnt really help right now it has an arco starter and all the insides still look brand new (pulled it apart over the winter no corrosion) but i dont know what else could cause it to have such a hard time turning over the ski is high compression with ada racing head and i use a mix of c12 and 93 with klotz oil,, does anyone know what could cause this problem the only thing i can think of is that it needs a new starter,, if so whats the best starter for my ski?? thnks :banghead:

check your starter and see if you have any magnets broken in it. if your going to buy a starter your guess is good as mine. ive had all of them fail but i think the oem can take a little more beating cause of the magnets are in a cage. the last starter i bought was last month and i went with sbt. they said i get a year warrenty against defects so i said what the hell ill try it.

aqua torque starters that say "high torque and made in Japan " they have two o-rings for sealing in case..will crank it faster than oem...so far they seem to be holding up...
