Intermittently, after the starter button is hit and released, the starter keeps on going and going. Only the relay is tapped, does it stop. Not sure if it's the relay or SS switch.

Could be either, but most likely the relay has fried contacts.

happened to me once after a bad wipe out.
had to pop the hood n break the negative cable to battery ha
