FX-1 starter opinions ???

I have to replace the starter on my FX. I am considering buying one from SBT. Does anyone have an opinion on this starter, is it good or bad? Or do you recommend one that is better, if so why. Thank you

If you cannot afford a new OEM Yamaha starter, buy a good used OEM Yamaha starter (from Jetmaniac).
Do not buy anything on eBay that claims to be an OEM Yamaha starter (because they are not)

Do not waste money or time on anything else. You've been warned.

^^^ Listen to that guy. I know people that have bought the ebay starters and crapped out after a few weeks. OEM

Rebuild your oem starter with the $30 kit on ebay. Works great.
