Ok guys i think i have read every start stop thread on here, but i might be missing something so thought id rase the question one more time..
Problem: My ski keeps cutting out, it can happen when riding flat or riding surf or doing stalls, so essentially when ever it feels like it - sometimes once in a ride and other time 5 times in 10min... when it stalls it starts up first click of the button!
Figured it was my Stop switch, pulled it apart and looks to be in good nick, did the standard Wet/dry on the terminals, replaced the plug- tested resistance it was under 5ohm which i think is the spec..
When i use the standard CDI it will just simply not spark at all- unless i unplug the WHITE wire and it has full spark.. when i run the AM ignition it does spark with the stop switch connected but cuts out when i ride it...
OK SO WHAT IS THE PROBLEM
if there was a break in the wire the stop button simply wouldn't work right?? unless its a break in the white wire and its rubbing on something. the loom seems to be in good nick.. Am i over looking something? thanks for your input.
