I'm at that stage of stabs. It feels alot safer when you just throw the stab inverted, I have a couple roll attempts a shot and the first one I really threw my head I didn't put the pole down and...... Yea keep the pole down
Yup! Keeping the pole down is key. It's extremely hard for me to break that habit. I always want to open up and stab.I'm at that stage of stabs. For sure dude! When I go crazy I do it at quite a fast speed, especially when it's off my own wake..The best stabs are the ones that you hit it fast and relaxed, and it's smoothly just rotated nose down. Once I started getting them dialed flat I had a hard time doing it off a wake. Your pics make me want to get out and go HAM at some stabs. I think getting inveted stabs down pat is the key to doing rolls.
Yea Andrew hits the wake at like 30! I can't imagine hitting a wake that fast......ever!For sure dude! When I go crazy I do it at quite a fast speed, especially when it's off my own wake..
Just ask @Tommygunz LOL

Haha nice dude! You're doing this all without footholds? That's impressive and freeken crazy. I wouldn't recommend working on rolls unless you get something that'll hold you in. I won't even do an inverted stab without my feet locked in the holds...Agreed haha I don't even have a foothold in yet is my issue I can't lift the tray and get max leverage. But I don't have the prop or low end thrust at that matter so I'm doing minimum 20mph when I go for it haha. I jumped at nearly wot last weekend and the ski seemed like it was never coming down, I can't believe I stayed on cause I landed back first but rode out haha! Got it on gopro too
Keep in mind that was off of a small boat wake, but I go pretty big off of my own wake too. I'm running a 61x/61x b pipe, ada head with 180 comp, 9/15 hooker prop, stubby pump cone, worx 201 intake grate, d cut stock ride plate, etc.
Yeah its a little sketch but once you get truly 100% upside down and eat it, it's not too scary. I'm more scared of a backflip on an am hull then a barrel roll on my ski.
