Tried to start the SJ last night and the bendix isn't engaging the flywheel. You can just hear it spinnnig. I have spare parts. I know I can check/fix it in probably 30 minutes, but why does this sheeot always happen when you're getting ready for a trip!!!??? I broke my steering cable a few days before my last Daytona trip. :rant: Surfjetlouie saved my a$$ that time.

Sounds like we're all crunchin' to get 'em ready! Picked up materials this morning for foothold install & tray reinforcement

Your job is gonna take longer, but you can get it done by next week. Shape the holds like Nick did his if he's gonna help you. I'm changing mine as soon as I get a free weekend.

I got the ones from tom21. They accomodate 25mm pad. Everyone seems to love 'em. Nick will be the "job-boss" we will do what he says. He's given me a good price, so It would'nt be fair to watch him do the labor!

I'll be there around noon on the 13th if everything goes as planned. Just finished changing the bendix, and I'm charging the battery now.

Cool, it looks like I'll be riding my wifes ski, but that's o.k. It has a pipe but no holds and actually is great for carving. The surf prediction is not huge to say the least. SW wind most of the week, but you never know .....
