I forgot!
what is the typical squish one gets with a stock 61x cylinder, stock stroke and domed pistons using ADA 35cc domes? I would hope it is the ideal squish for good combustion at 180 psi without having to change anything, right?

I've seen them anywhere from .052 up to .059 on stock motors with out of the box ADA 35cc domes, you can mill about .010 off your cylinder block in most cases to tighten them up a bit and get them about .048-.050 range.

Really? i asked the guy boring my jug to check the top of my cylinder to see if it was true flat, but did not know if it was safe to take a very very small amount off the cylinder or not. Now, if my top of cylinder is true and i wanted to tighten up my squish is it any better to deck the bottom to move the ports down and piston up or to mill the top of cylinder to "slam" the head a bit? so much chit i been wondering about lately.
