Squarenose 701 issue

Quick question, I put a 701 ada head/b pipe/dual 38s, reman engine in a squarenose hull. When doing jump to sub 180s it comes up feeling loaded up or running out of fuel.. I tried my newer superjet carbs to see if I get the same effect and it still does it. Other then that it runs awesome! Gonna put new 1 way valves in tank and maybe a new fuel selector or just delete it, or is it running out of air in the hood?Any advice?

Do you still have the 2 hoses on the hood baffle? Make sure they are long enough. Might be dumping water near your carbs after the sub. I’ve had the same issue
