hey, I think the first thing I did was put in some bilges, and foot holds. Then put a round nose pole on shortened with 0 degree bars. then I glassed over the hood intakes and did a yamaslut liner mod. then I blew the motor and superjett helped me build my 701.

If you want to do some engine / power mods, I'd mill the stock head for 180psi compression and put on a coffman's sizzler pipe. Those, a skat trak impeller (can't remember the pitch) and a stubby pump cone did wonders for mine. It's still not a 701 though...
