i know i've seen this somewhere, but can't find it. anyone filled this area on a square for sanding, painting and had a nice outcome? form or fill with what? cover with basic glass, sand, prime and paint?:scratchchin:

i started making a nose piece for my buddies square..we made the bottom but im not sure im gonna make a top yet..i was gonna fill that void with pour foam on another hull sand it to shape..use mold release and lay it up..then pop it off trim it up and epoxy it onto his good hull and fill all that area with filler...we glassed the ski up so thick already im not sure it needs it...he has a BIG problem with hitting the bottom so i may make it if he breaks what he has....it would basically look like the stock rubber piece but be glass/carbon
