I am actually interested in what the engine builders on here have to say. Now we have Chuckie, Brian, Brian, Wamilton, and others that I am not thinking of. I am considering going big, but curious as to opinions on doing a 84x84(yamaha dome top or Kawi flat tops) or 84x89(951 pistons) or 84x95?(cr500 pistons-not sure what bore range they come in)
Do u want to target a sqaure bore/stroke or not?

I think Blair recommends 1.2:1
The other thing to remember an engine is just an air pump, it doesn't really help making it bigger if you can't get the air in(reedvalves) or the air out(exhaust)
VF are restrictive on big cc, a 66E reedvalve has more flow area
Exhausts will have to start at more than 50mm(the 66E 800 engine is 50mm stock)
