Spring Break Freeride March 12-14th - Whos in?

Is this the JK Freeride or at least what it started or is this just another social gathering at pismo? Or maybe I'm asking if this is the biggest pismo event of the year? I'm on the line of whether to go or not to go.. mid summer would be much more convenient... but if this the biggest pismo event or the aftermath of the JK Freeride then I'm in for sure! Someone please help me!

This is not the JK freeride/Surf Slam/Pismo Rager. That takes place in October. But no reason not to go in March. Sounds like it will be the biggest March event there yet.

Nothing in Mid-Summer there. Too much wind and bad surf.

Where do you live? We went twice last year from Colorado. Will likely go twice this year too (March & Oct.). It's worth it!

Ya, what RMBC said... It's not called any particular ride. It's Cuong's Birthday weekend, and I think a few others. We are going to show our DVD Rise of the Tide to everyone, I think it's going to be pretty big with a lot of people. Ronny Mac is coming out to take pics and chill with everyone. I know a few big name people are planning on coming out but I don't want to speak for them. It's going be kind of a big deal hahaha We are going to try and hit different events this year so for us this pismo trip is prob going to be the biggest one, and one of only a few we will make this year. I think you should come out!!!

I live in West Virginia.. I checked mapquest and its right at 2600 miles.. I think I'm gonna try and make it and if it's what it seems to be I'll try and make it in oct as well.

With that being said is there a local place to pismo to get race gas and does this place have showering facilities?? Thanks

theres a couple shops that sell race gas near the entrance to the beach. when i camp on the beach, i use the pay showers at the nearby campground. just dont forget to bring quarters :headbang:

ill be out there. on a somewhat stock 440. which is a living hell in the surf. but all that matters is having a good time, getting hammered, and having the biggest fire, and hopefully my truck will make it there from fresno.

yeah, you can pay for 3 days at a time or just pay for the day and decide later..

i wouldnt worry about making reservations.... its not a holiday weekend or anything.

a few of us will be out there 2moro and monday riding. im going to a party in a little bit and probably gonna leave my house at like 4am.

yea, the ebox was soaked.....i dried it up and ran it on the hose like for 15 mins. im a litttle sore... hahahah
