Spring/Braket Help

I bought the Blowsion lowered dual breather braket, and i call blowsion and asked if there HD Spring would work with my RRP Pole... I cant figure it out... help..plz

Turn the spring around and see if that works! The long part has to be in the pole and the short part in the bracket.

yup, see those two holes on the right of the cast pole bottom in the last pic? One end of the spring goes in the one on the far right.

I had better luck using a stock spring myself. I found the stock spring to not have enough tension and the Blowsion one to have too much. If you compare the long arm position of the two springs side by side you will want to heat up and bend the long arm to be somewhere in the middle of the two.

Once you have the spring tension set right and seated on the tensioner block, then you can cut the extra length off.

I have never used this set up but even if the pole is up there will be tension on the spring. So by looking at the pictures it looks like you need to take the long end and unwind it and make it point up towards the handle bars. If it is easy to install then you will find there is not enough lift. Be careful, springs are dangerous.

I have a Blowsion pole spring on my ski also. I'm not running Blowsions bracket so I had to modify the spring. I basicly drilled the bracket base, cut the long end shorter with a cut off wheel and inserted it into the hole I drilled in the bracket. I love blowsions spring, I run my pole loose and its so light that when I let go it will actually raise to the "up" position.

I had a diff bracket, but i had to cut the about an inch off the long end and a 1/4 inch off the short to get it in.

I just got off the phone with blowsion, the long part of the spring goes in the braket and the short goes in the right casting hole, the trick is putting it on off your ski and loosen the sides of the braket for more play, then once everything is in place your done... Just have too try after work

i had to heat mine and bend it alittle bit

IN2-H2O your right!! Dam this spring is crazy it makes my pole stand straight up!

so if i bend the part that goes in too the bracket that will fix the problem?

So after fighting so hard to put that dam thing together, i decided ill have to find another way... so i tied the pole down took off the nose piece and headed the spring with my torch and now it is neutral it doesn't go up or down unless i tell it too, its better then it was before at least, ill just have to wait till morning too see if it changes
