Sponsorhouse anyone?

Jessie, I am referring to inside the industry......... the days of a rider who has to pay for nothing is all but gone......... I got some money for Nationals from a couple of contractors, What do I have to offer them? Nothing, they did it more to just help out, yes, I have huge stickers on my ski for their benifit, but they would never get any return from helping me out other than my appreciation.


Chris, I understand what you are saying, but I have several Sponsorship Contracts that clearly state that the deal they are offering is discounted pricing......... Am I complaining, not at all, every bit helps.
I am sponsored by Utopia, if they showed up at a race and caught me wearing Oakleys they could/would cancel my sponsorship, why? I am under contract with them. It is sponsorship.

Anyone have any luck with that site and getting legit endorsement deals. Ive seen a few of you guys on there, just wondering if the old fashion way of obtaing sponsorships is still the way to do it or is this the new wave. I made a profile there and filled out a few apps last night.

So far, Sponsorhouse has been kinda a joke. I just got contacted today to ask if I wanted to host a Mary Kay party in exchange for a little product. WTF?!?!?!

Those who know me know that I'm the last person to be hosting a girly party or selling beauty supplies. Plus, that sure as heck is not a sponsorship nor is it discounted product...sounded like a standard marketing scan. Nice try, but you gotta be kidding me!!!!

I completely agree for the most part but there are companies however that can benefit from your advertising and pay with money. Stick with online buisnesses and be able to give out some shirts, know a bit about the buisness/product, etc. It can be rewarding for both parties:biggthumpup:
