Hi i just put on #ZERO's sponsons and took my ski out for a very short short test ride before daytona. To make sure all was ok with the ski. Not so much to check out how the sponsons handled.

Now for my question. For those with 96+ hulls the first time you rode with sponsons added did you have to re learn a new leaning technique. I found that as I rode the nose/sponsons would catch and want to wander. Want to throw me off. Granted I did not want to go down and get all wet because it was cold and the water was kinda nasty. So i really didnt give them a chance yet. But is there a new learning curve with tubbies added?

thanks Brad

The learning curve is pretty short. after a couple-few rides it'll feel natural and way better.

You'll notice a mid throttle wander and it feels like you hit the breaks when you let off the gas. Turning will feel different and you'll have to learn to trust the sponsons while carving.

You described it exactly. I only rode for like 5 minutes without hitting the water. I figured that would be the learning curve. Thanks for confirming my guess. See ya next week.
