What are oyu leaning more towards, Surf type hull of Flatwater ?

Ummm... It will be a bit more towards flatwater but have soem benefits that would help in the surf too. The ********ty part is if they dont work there goes alot of $$$$ lol. When the time comes i am going to look into some materials that will keep it light but also make it very strong. Possibly do the whole boat with a foam core or something of that nature. I have ALOT more work to do before that is even a question though. I think Ill set up shop in my basement for the winter...

maybe we could find u another square donor hull you could use to cut the motormount/firewall area out of in tact so u have a nice motor mockup you could also make a mold of? i dont know.. just trying to help.. im sure we could get you another square donor hull if we tried hard enough... possibly free even..

That could work but I think the bulkhead of a square would be different. I will get it out. I have only been working on it for like an hour or two after work each day until it gets dark.

Too late now, but how about making the top mold before you split it, then you could cut the top up to get it off. That might be better anyway - I'd assume the top shell is pretty flimsy and you might have a hard time keeping it square while making the mold.

The top deck will need to be attached to a piece of MDF anyway to make a flange for the mold so that will hold it square.
