So I waited 2 weeks to go ride, finally hit the lake today, take a few turns and pull the throttle and the ski dies. Try and restart it and nothing, just dead in the water. My buddy pulls me in and I pop off to engine cover to find a bunch of smoke. When that cleared, it was clear what happened, the dam rubber connector that connects the 2 pipes had split. Instant end to my day.

Where the hell do I get a rubber coupler to fit this pipe or a stronger alternative?? What size pipe is this?? Its so stretched out I know I cant get a good measurement!! This is on a SN with a 701 RN engine. Its a Coffmans pipe, thats about all I know as I just bought the ski.

I'm sure Parker Yamaha would have the correct coupler for you...unfortunately I don't know what pipe that is, though. A few years ago they were the only place I could find that had a similar large diameter coupler in stock for my Coffman's Sizzler pipe.

your looking at it. they fall off. wonder why they dont make pipes anymore? get a factory pipe. more power and it wont fall off.

I just seen a Speedwerx pipe in the classifieds. I think. There is no better pipe. I now have another speedwerx and will NEVER get rid of it. Well maybe for a freestyle version but no one will sell one of those.

O I just thought of it. send thongbonger an email. He might still have that riva red pipe.
