its top secret........ just kidding my super hitech tools consist of a piece of 1/4" and 5/16" pieces of brass tubeing. i got 1' brass pieces of each for 5$ at orchard. i just took some tin snips and cut teeth on the ends of the tubeing. i dug out about 1/2" of wire with a tiny screwdriver and some small needle nose pliers. then took the bigger tube pushed it in the hole and kept twisting for a while. that breaks the epoxy and outer rubber shell of the wire down. then switch to the 1/4 tube and do the same thing. the smaller tube grinds up the rest of of the wire up and pulls it out. switch back and forth a couple times and youll get it. it exposes a metal spike inside the coil. about 1 3/8" down. im just gonna shove fresh wire in the coil and epoxy it back in.

I have a 50-foot roll of yellow 8mm silicone tinned solid core marine wire and MSD or NGK spark plug ends for sale.

Also have the primmary terminals & boots for the coil if needed.

Yes most automotive wire is radio suppression or just bare copper which is not good for marine applications and if you use the right stuff the first time you won't have to keep replacing it.

I had a hard time finding marine tinned solid core spark plug wire local or online that's why I purchased a fifty foot roll and sell it for $1.95 per foot.

I drove all around town lookin for some. Got lucky at a hotrod shop. I had to get it in a universal spark plug wire kit in pre determined lengths though. But the wire quality is so much better than oem. Oem wire is 7mm and has 7 big coppee strands. This wire I found is 8mm and has 28 smaller strands of tinned copper wire. But it wasn't cheap... And it's super flexible too. Already a bunch of local guys that want me to hook up their coils.
