Spark Plug differance?

Can someone tell me what the differance is between NGK BR8ES and BR8HS plugs?

yep the es is longer. for the heads with domes like the ada you need the longer plugs.

Does anyone know if you accidentally used the longer plugs on a stock head would it hit the piston?

The br8es is the stock length in the Kawi, but 7's are the stock heat range on my 650 motors.

Br8es plugs have threads about twice as long as the Br8hs plugs. The br8HS plugs are found in stock yamaha motors.

Don't start it until you know that the plugs won't hit the pistons. I have no idea if they would, but I would be sure before I started it.

Does the 701 have a stock or an aftermarket head?

Remember you have a dish in the head
they wont hurt
this wa sa trock some people wewre trying on stock class kis

the down side was it oput a dirty thread in the middle of the chamber

I already ran it but there were two different plugs in it. The motor is comming out in a week anyway. I just wanted to make sure it ran ok before I bought it (new project). Thanks for the info guy's.

ES Plug reach is "3/4, HS plug reach is "1/2 and NO the long reach plug in a stock 650/701/760 motor won't hit the piston if used.
