date and directions

Anyone have an objection to the second weekend in May? what is best sat. or sun.? thats the 10th and 11th. Lets say everyone meet there at 9:30?


here is a picture of the hot hole with directions on where to ride to after you have put your jetski in the water.

for driving directions mapquest bolles harbor in Monroe, Mi. It is off exit 11 on 75.

I might be able to make it on the 11th... I really wanna do this, but my wife and I are going to niagra falls that weekend.. I think I will be home on the 11th though, so I hope I can make it on that day if you guys choose to go on that date.

If you go the weekend before or after that it would work better for me...

FYI- Mothers Day is Sunday May 11. I won't be able to make it for sure on Sunday and possible not on Saturday the 10th either.

My suggestion is to make it May 17th at the Hot Hole. Saturday are best.

Alright, May 17th works better for me two I just didnt know if that would be early enough for you guys. should be warmer out by then too.

Lets set up to hit the hothole in lake Erie, lets go soon, I'm sick of not being on the water.

The Hot Hole is the warm water discharge from the Monroe powerplant cooling. You can launch out of either Sterling State park or Bolles Harbor (the Hothole is right between the two places). Both are just off of I-75 in Monroe.

The water is sheltered by a sandy beach, so it is always flat unless boats are making waves. However, once out of the cove you can catch the waves on Erie if they are rolling.

Do you guys have any ideas for the Put-In-Bay Island Freeride?

I need some help getting the word out there about this ride and could really use all your help.

staying at one of the hotels that overlook the falls was awesome! worth the extra money imo.

You are doing very good with your freeride! Freestylefest has a downside in that it cant get to big because of the limited room to ride in the hothole. That was the reason for doing it in canada one day and the hothole the next. All you need is to have a place to ride, stay, eat, and party. keep it up:fing02:

There is a butterfly observatory that is really nice. I took my wife there and she loved it. It's a few miles below the falls on the canadien side, past the golf coarse.

you cant, everyone has to launch at bolles harbor and make the chilly ride to the hothole. just make sure that when you leave the harbor you keep riding out away from the land a ways because the seaweed is real thick and will stop the ski. no fun.

Im looking for a better spot to put in while we are there on may 17th. hopefully I can find a great place for freestylefest.

Crankcase block off plate, kenny keepers, and pipe. There is no room in the garage right now for it. Was thinking about a repaint......it's a long story. :dunce:
