Mark Murphy posted up some similar pics as Matt E's vid of the last Pismo trip in October on Facebook. I think he mounted a GoPro to his little RC plane. Marks Pics looked pretty good, clearer the Matt E's vid. (Marks were pics not vid) Marks set up didn't look very expensive at all.

What I want to know is what lens is on that GoPro in the first clip the OP posted

Found this info in the youtube comments. Its a Sunex lens. Its has a narrower FOV to get rid of the fisheye.

yeah, but your aiming blind. That is the downside to it. From Broad Spectrum point of view it is fine.

The video of the car is just using a remote contoled helicopter.

You can spend alot more but maybe those would work. I have a few small RC coptors. You probobly want weight and alot of power becasue the wind really blows these things around.
