Super Jet SOLAS intake vs Worx

I have a SOLAS intake that came with the ski.

Is the Worx significantly better.

I had a solas on my race sxr that I liked.
I have one on my SN that I don't like nearly as well as my Worx. I am sure they have made different styles of grates over the years though.

ok - can you tell me why you prefer the Worx? and which Worx do you have.

Worx makes one of the deepest grates currently available, it works better at low speeds and in rough water than shallower grates.

What he said......just hooks up better. I have the 201

Not a SJ, but I have run both the worx 201 and the solas scoop on my blaster. The solas hooked close to, if not better than the worx. I am running the worx now and see no point in switching back but in hindsight I should not of bothered changing to begin with.

I agree with what the others have said tho, the worx certainly has a more aggressive position on the hull. I'm just not feeling any advantage from it.

Thanks to all. Thinking on this thread has made me realize i am "focused on the tree". I need to rethink the whole upgrade and budget. See you in the next thread . . .
