So I have a question about a hull.

I get most of my infusion supplies from http://shop.fiberglasssupply.com although there are many other websites with the same products. Shop around and find which site will give you the best price when shipping is factored in. I used Resin Research 2070 infusion epoxy although I've had very tempermental and inconsistent results with it. It could be because I chose extra slow hardener but most of my smaller infusions never cured 100%. Both hull infusions cured just fine with the first one being a bit too quick. You need to use an infusion specific resin if you are infusing instead of vac bagging. West System epoxy for example is too thick for anything larger than say my sponson mold. It will gel up before it is able to completely infuse with anything bigger. Pay attention to the viscosity ratings.

I was going to say cause I'm using this for my ski. But it would be to thick and cure to fast for infusion. This stuf was setting to jell in 15 mins. Even after the company said 25 min pot life.

Yeah polyester resins are what you'll use for the molds so it's good that you have experience with it. Since you know how fast polyester resins can set you can start to get an idea of the challenges of building a jetski sized mold. You cannot do it in one shot or hardly even one layer in one shot. Plan on one deck mold taking several days of glasswork to complete.

Oh I've figured that out. It took me almost three days to get that one piece of carbon fiber to Fourm and stick to the hull right.
