i got a pole bracket with backing plate from snowxr the plate has holes it it for the pole bracket and for the hood hooks. you could have one made like that. kill 2 birds with one stone.

if you are buying a complete pole setup with bracket and plate - then yes, all you need is 4 bolts, 4 lock washers, and 4 nuts.

I bought XMW hood hooks for mine as well. an M6 socket had cap screw fits them perfectly.

I've never run the brap strap so i don't know where it attaches but most hood straps attach to the Hood hooks so if they fail, both systems fail. Some Aftermarket Pole mounts have provisions for the hood strap and that is a much better solution.

I suppose some might, I've never bought a "kit". I make all my own stuff. I don't think I'd attach them to the hood hook hardware, I'd put them on their own dedicated bolts with fender washers, as I would my limit rope as well. Move that stress around.

Brap strap is the same. 2 straps going back to the pole mount.

My old Blowsion bracket didn't have anything, nor did my WDK but I see updated versions now come with predrilled attachment points for straps, very nice addition. I mount to the hood hook hardware on both my RRP's but the top plate is wider and the backing plate is all one piece plus dual breathers force you to the outside of the bracket anyway.
