So i Did a Speech

I was going to give a speech today for my Cas100 public speaking class. A how to on Barrel rolls. Little did i know till i got up there that my Visual aids would not work.

Plan A: Use an XSCREAMLY good video on Barrel rolls

Plan B: Use XSCREAMLY good pictures of Barrel rolls

Plan C: Using the chalkboard eraser explaining how a barrel roll happens

Well it wasnt too bad, Pure innovation on my end while reaching the required Time limit.

haha yea it was kinda a bummer in my mind i didnt have a video pop up for them to stare at.

everyone loses interest in the speeches after about 2 mins anyway.

But i did pull it off with no notecards and not reading from an outline...

that would have been a good point to bring up at the end of the presentation

i was like screw it "ill just wing it" teach goes ''u sure?". I looked at what there was to work with and said "i got it" haha

That's cool man, I gave my first speech at psu altoona on how to winterize a ski back in 98! Nobody fell asleep so that was good. ahhh time flys by!

Congrats! You're not really a good speaker unless you can think on your feet. All sorts of stuff can go wrong and you need to be unflappable, charming, funny, and confident to get through things that could be a disaster.
