Snapped Driveshaft

Son Nick took the FX-1 down to Galveston today came back with this.

Found a bolt that fit just right in the hollow back end welded it on and bingo.

Shaft Removed.

Got Lucky had an extra and the ski is back to ready for the Free Ride in 2 weeks.

Same thing happened to me a while back. Broke in the same spot, too.

That's why I started making heavy duty driveshafts for my SJ's. Big HP sems to break stuff.

atleast we have the graveyard to replace parts with :woot:

When mine broke, I took that as an opportunity to get a mag pump.

With 2 kids getting ready to go to college that opportunity is just a dream for me right now.

I am just happy when they run and we can hit the water. But SOMEDAY I will do a whole motor driveline upgrade.
