Sn superjet foothold problem

Bought a set of hurricane ind footholds and the exhaust tube is well in the way of the hold. Wondering whether it would be better to cut the hold back and glass the toe in a little (there is plenty of room) or dent the tube or a little of both ?View attachment 296304View attachment 296305

Looks like you cut the hole too far forward. Move to back as far as you can. If not you are going to have to modify the foothold.

Yeah you can't see in the picture but I'm at the back maybe a 1/4 inch I could go

Cut the foothold to clear the pipe and than glass over the hole

I put them in my old ski. I had to drop the exhaust outlet down. It was annoying but in the end it was well worth it. A lot of work too. If I did it again I'd do what @jetx said cut the foothold and reglass it. Lot easier

@jetx I cut the bottom out for the tube and just fit everything
@joecef i was thinking about doing that but seems like a hassle. How did you like the holds?

Loved them. I was attempting flips with my 24/7 holds my feet kept coming out. I installed the bobs. Loved them, feet never moved. The the hurricane boys were awesome if I needed any help or suggestions.
