Ok. Did a lot of searching and couldn't really find the answer I was looking for. Just have a issue with the UMI turnplate cable ball joint connections on my conversion. I put a FX1 pole on my SN as well as installing a FX1 cable on my SN. There are 3 threaded holes for the cable end as well as a hole closest to the bearing that is not threaded and is recessed on the bottom. Due to the shorter throw of the FX1, the cable will only work if I use the hole closer to the bearing. Tried adjusting the cable but the cable will bottom out before the turnplate hits the stop if I use any or the 3 threaded holes. Is this right or am I doing something wrong? I will add that it seems to work fine how I have it, it just doesn't seem right.
