Super Jet SN Rail Rivets

I have a SN, and am about to install some Hydroturf on the rails. I popped off the stock bumpers, and noticed that the rails are riveted together. Is it OK to remove the rivets and fill the holes? Or, do most turf over the rivets?

fill the holes otherwise your turf will come off, put pading on the lip, then turf over all

Just my opinion but turf over the rivets. I didn't pad the lip either just glued the turf right to the rail and it has held up for 2 years now.
